Luxury Branded is a branding and marketing company which focuses on luxury goods and services. Their identity system needed to be clean and modern, but also reflect the classical look of many luxury items.
The Luxury Branded logo uses a classic serif font paired with a more modern colour scheme which lends itself well to both online and print materials.
Creative Branch is a Victoria, BC based marketing and branding company which focuses on providing local and affordable services to its clients, many of whom are small businesses. They wanted an identity system which emphasized their connections to the community, and had a West Coast feel.
The resulting logo and corresponding branding draws from the concept of growth and having strong roots, but is still modern and adaptable to the ever-changing environment of online marketing.
The Burnaby YOUth Hub is a drop in centre for teens that offers a huge range of support services. They are a not-for-profit organization who required an identity system that is professional, but also easy and cost-effective to maintain.
The Hub brand has a specific audience: teenagers, who may be experiencing some academic or personal issues, or who simply want a space where they feel safe and welcome.
The new identity is fresh and exciting, reflecting the generation it is attracting. The typographic treatment in the logo also references the connected nature of the Hub itself, which is a space that houses a wide range of support services under one roof.
This visual identity uses one colour and one typeface, with the idea that it is very easy for a busy not-for-profit organization to apply and adhere to. The logo is simple, clean and can easily be converted to black and white applications.
I had the wonderful opportunity of creating some marketing materials for a documentary about Sign Painting, which toured North America.
Buttoneering is a unique, UK based project which provides event planning and rentals for those looking for an alternative to the classical. The creators took inspiration from the term ‘Orienteering’ for their name, and I in turn used this as a basis for the concept.
The resulting logo is reflective of the handmade nature of many of the decorating options which Buttoneering offers.
The People’s Juicery is a wonderful juice bar located in the Yaletown area of Vancouver. They approached me for a logo design, which also branched into some marketing materials. The emphasis on the logo was simplicity, as the beautiful colours and textures of the juices speak for themselves.
McNab’s Farm Fresh Chicken is a small family-run business that sells fresh chicken in my local community. My client had great taste and gave me some wonderful suggestions. The result is a playful logo and a great catchphrase.
Roxypop is a local Vancouver company which sells handmade crocheted and sewn products. The challenge was to design a logo and a range of packaging for the many different items that Roxypop sells.
I worked closely with the client to create an identity that reflects the colour and playfulness of the Roxypop fabrics. The goal was to create a look which suits the crafty feel of the product, but is also clean and modern looking.
